PUBLIC UPDATE: June 19, 2020 - While progress has been made on the community's new well development at Bradford Park, more conditioning is required. In order to best protect these new wells in this crucial stage of their development, it is the advice of IHA, Engineers and well experts that the stress of irrigation must be avoided for the time being. WATER SYSTEM WATER QUALITY ADVISORY
UPDATE - August 15, 2019
The Spruce Crescent well is at the moment the sole supplier of water to our system (hence the Stage 2 Water Restrictions), and has very low concentrations of Manganese. The previous June 4th update stated testing showed the levels of Manganese in our water system to be well below the Health Canada Maximums (MAC) we were originally concerned about from an infant health perspective. The provision of coupons for water has been discontinued.
The District continues to send samples for testing and will report back to you on this page of any change in this advisory. This notice will be updated as required.
Please continue to notify the District office should your water be overly tea coloured or you have additional questions.
